
Jennifer has always wished to be a multi-tasking celeb. She was an avid fan of various styles of music in her youth, which included Afro-Caribbean music styles like salsa, merengue, and bachata. In her later years, her most loved genres were the mainstream genres of pop music, R&B as well as hip-hop. Although she loved music, the film industry also intrigued her. Her greatest influence was Rita Moreno musical, West Side Story (1961). At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. In addition to being an entertainer, Jennifer is also a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years of an Catholic elementary school called Holy Family which was located in The Bronx, before graduating from an all-girls prep school, Preston High School after four years. Jennifer was an accomplished athlete who participated in track and fields and tennis at school was also an excellent pupil. She spent most of her upbringing in a two-story house within the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer left her home along with her parents at the age of 18. In the meantime, Lopez worked at a legal firm. She also took dancing positions at night.
